How do you update a classic without losing its essence? This was the challenge faced in the work done for Organizacoes Globo, the largest media conglomerate in Latin America.
The project involved the creation of a new brand and a more up-to-date visual universe for Sitio do Picapau Amarelo (Yellow Woodpecker Farm, a classic of Brazilian children’s literature), in addition to the redesign of the characters, carried out by Bruno Okada. As a guide for placement of the new identity in campaigns and on packaging, a style guide was produced – with the applications and brand rules.
The result? The redesign of a classic.
